We feel bad for you if you missed August’s 8static! :( However, we got another great lineup for September! :)

Instead of a pre-show workshop on site this month, there is an extra special gallery opening of art related to the chip scene at the Klein Art Gallery. This show is called Ready>Run. More information can be found on the events page. This starts at 5pm.

Following the opening head to Studio 34 for 8static! This month features Nanoloop astonishment champion and Game Boy magician Lissajou from Jacksonville, FL. Don’t miss this dapper don of the DMG in his first ever Philadelphia performance!

Like guitars and chip music? We do! That’s why we’re proud to have Pause Records frontman and Kind of Bloopin’ Disasterpeace in town from Boston, MA.

You’ve seen his visuals before at 8static, but now you’ll experience the audiovisual assault of NYC’s noteNdo! He’s here to play one last set of Game Boy music and NES visuals before he moves to Berlin!

On visuals all night we have Philly’s own VBLANK! Expect new chips and graphics from Philly’s vintage visual expert.

Get psyched! Also, see picture of Lissajou below so you can recognize him at 8static:

Antonio Cavadini a.k.a. Tonylight lives and works in Milano, Italy. As a musician and explorer, he has been fascinated by 8-bit music since the beginning and joined the community. He plays the Game Boy and old computers like NES and Atari ST since 2001. Due to the simplicity of the applied tools, he finds lightness and freshness in the 8-bit scene. Especially he likes the project micromusic.net, a community where he finds friends with similar interests.
